Born January 2003 is a folk, indie, acoustic singer songwriter from Newcastle NSW.
Lachlan picked up the guitar in 2016 and within a few months was writing original material.
In October 2017 he played his first performance at Lizotte’s Newcastle to a great audience that heard his original material and his distinctive vocal style.
Since then Lachlan has been playing hotels and events in Newcastle, The Hunter Valley and The Central Coast and establishing himself as a rock solid performer playing venues the seasoned professionals play and building up a great fan base of all ages.
May 2018 saw Lachlan with a #1 in the roots charts at Triple J unearthed with his song ‘Little Things’. Triple J roots presenter also gave him a great review of the song and also some playtime on Triple J, he also held a #12 spot at the same time with his song ‘These Days’.
In June 2018 after hearing Lachlan, a Sydney base record label has approached him to record his first EP and has taken interest in signing him to their label which has some iconic Australian rock acts in their portfolio. It’s early days yet but this young musician is certainly catching the attention of many in the industry and his future looks bright as an emerging Australian artist.
