Unfortunately no, there will not be any specific gluten free beer at the festival. However, there will be multiple cider options and wineries for those who are unable to consume gluten.
Bitter and Twisted 2018 offers a range of ticket packages for all those wanting to attend.
All children aged 14 years and under are free entry when purchased in conjunction with an adult ticket.
The child’s ticket must be obtained at the time of sale of an adult ticket. Children without a ticket will not be allowed access to the festival.

Children aged between 15-17 must purchase a Visitor Pass ticket, in conjunction with an adult ticket to enter the site.

Bitter & Twisted will be held on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November 2018.
Entry to the festival is through the main car park of Maitland Gaol.
There will be three lines clearly marked by ticket type.
To ensure a smooth entry, please ensure you line up in the line that matches your ticket type.
Your ticket will be scanned and you will be given your inclusions (Day Release, Food Inspector and VIP’s only) and a wristband.
You will then head around to the main gates of the gaol where all bags will be searched before entering the site.
Please note: No glass, drinks, food, beer paddles and chairs are permitted to be brought in.
No chairs are permitted into the site. Seating will be provided throughout the festival.
All ticket purchases will be issued with a booking confirmation.
‘Print at Home’ tickets will be dispatched to the nominated email address shortly after your order has been processed.
‘Collect at Event’ tickets will be available for collection from the ticketing marquee on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 November, on presentation of booking confirmation.
Double check your booking confirmation to confirm the delivery method you chose.

Bitter & Twisted is held in the former maximum security prison Maitland Gaol. The Gaol is located at 6 – 18 John Street, East Maitland.
The festival runs from 10.00am – 6.00pm on Saturday 3 November and 10.00am – 4.00pm Sunday 4 November 2018.
You can drive, fly or come by train. Additional train services will be provided for the event.

There is no official car parking site for Bitter & Twisted, if you are driving to the event there is only limited on street parking available on the streets surrounding the Gaol.
We recommend you to pre-purchase tickets for the event as we cannot guarantee availability on the weekend.
If tickets sell out, they will not be available on the day.
Any tickets not pre-sold will be available to purchase at the festival.
No pension / concession discounts are available.
You sure can. Children 15 – 17 years must purchase a youth ticket and be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. This ticket must be purchased in the same transaction as the adult tickets.
Children 14 and under are free but must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and must call us to arrange a ticket. Under 18s are not permitted in the VIP area or Food and Beer Matching Lunch.
Sunday 4 November is Family Fun Sunday with a dedicated section featuring face painting, kid’s activities, games and entertainment. To obtain tickets for children 14 and under please call us on 02 4931 2888.

An official Bitter & Twisted tasting glass is included with all tickets, excluding the Visitor pass.
The tasting glass is the only vessel to be used for beer and wine tasting.
Make sure you don’t lose your tasting glass otherwise you will need to purchase another at the merchandise tent.
No food or drink is permitted to be bought into the festival. There will be a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food available at the festival.
Unfortunately no food or drink can be bought into the festival. We will have a range of local and international food stalls at the festival including vegetarian and gluten free options.
There are no ATM’s on site. EFTPOS facilities are available to purchase tickets, tokens and merchandise. No cash out available.
No pets are allowed with the exception of assistance animals.
