PUBLIC TRANSPORT

We suggest taking full advantage of public transport while travelling to and from Bitter & Twisted.

Getting on and off at East Maitland Train Station is the easiest (and safest) way to get to and from Bitter & Twisted.

Transport NSW have added more services to their train timetable making it easy for festival goers.

PARKING

If you are unable to take public transport and have a designated driver organised, please be aware that there are road closures in place on John Street and on street parking is limited.

We recommend parking in any of the following streets:

  • Lindsay Street
  • Rolleston Street
  • Davidson Street

ROAD CLOSURES

There will be a number of Road Closures in place over the event weekend and will include:

EVENT ROAD CLOSURES TIME
A stop/slow procedure will be implemented at a ‘when required’ basis during peak delivery times. Thursday 2 November - 9.00am to 5.00pm Friday 3 November - 9.00am to 5.00pm
John Street, East Maitland is temporarily closed to vehicular traffic. The temporary closure will extend from the Morpeth Road roundabout to just east of the main entrance of the Maitland Gaol. Saturday 4 November - 6.00am to 8.00pm Sunday 5 November - 6.00am to 8.00pm
A stop/slow procedure will be implemented at a ‘when required’ basis during peak delivery times. Monday 6 November 9.00am to 5.00pm
