Coming out of Melbourne in 2005, Little Red has burst onto Australia’s independent music scene with their debut album ‘Listen to Little Red’. The 5 young members, dressed in their signature recycled suits, have no formula, no master plan, just an honest desire to engage and entertain.

The band is difficult to label with a single genre. Whether it's R&B, soul, or rock'n'roll, if the kids can dance to it then Little Red will play it! Coming into the live music circuit in 2007, Little Red have played almost every music festival in the country, including Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. Little Red have built a word of mouth following that has steadily developed into a throaty, resonant roar, with many a discerning punter claiming them to be one of Melbourne’s finest.

Don’t miss out on Little Red’s upbeat bop performance as the perfect surround sound for your beer and food sampling at Maitland’s Bitter & Twisted International Beer Festival.

Solo artist Jason Lowe possesses a command of his instrument that’s well beyond his years, a voice that any seasoned performer would die for and a natural soul that cannot be faked. The 19-year-old Novocastrian favours the ‘roots/folk’ genre but his exceptional talent as a lap steel guitarist allows him to venture without constraint into a variety of styles. His singles ‘Faith’ and ‘How We Let it Be’ are receiving airplay on Triple J and Jason was selected to perform at the 2007 Tamworth Country Music festival and the 2008 East Coast Blues and Roots festival
